Phong is very enthusiastic and passionate about the dental field. He has been in the dental field since 2003 starting out as a Registered Dental Assistant with a background in restorative, surgical, endodontic, and orthodontic. Over the years as an assistant, he felt a greater need to provide more care to patients, so he decided to enter hygiene school at Collin College in 2010. He graduated with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2012. He received the Golden Scaler Award for excellent performance in clinic and also received 1st place in table clinics on the topic “Orthodontic White Spot Lesions and Dental Hygiene”. He later went back to school, while working, and graduated from Texas Woman’s University with his Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2014. As soon as he received his bachelor, he went on to become an Associate Clinical Faculty at Collin College’s Dental Hygiene Program. As a hygienist, he is very gentle and at the same time, very thorough.
In his spare time, he is an active member of Greater Collin College Dental Hygiene Society. He also enjoys playing golf with his wife and traveling the world together. They like trying out new restaurants and supporting local small businesses. They also spend their time making their house, home.
