Terra’s favorite part of being a dental hygienist is educating the patient on the very best care available in dentistry today. She believes that patients can actively participate in the outcome of their dental care by choosing to get healthy today and stay healthy for a lifetime.
Terra graduated magna cum laude with her associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Collin College in May 2011. Dr. Sudhi was a supervising dentist during Terra’s first year of hygiene school, so she was excited for the opportunity to work with him at Synergy Dental. While working, she continued to further her education and graduated from Texas Woman’s University with her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 2021. She is currently an Associate Clinical Instructor at the Collin College Dental Hygiene Program.
She is very involved in the dental community, serving as 1st Vice President of the Greater Collin Dental Hygienists’ Association and as a delegate to the Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association. Terra is also on Collin College’s Dental Hygiene Advisory Committee and CE Health Science Advisory Committee where she helps with the growth of these programs for the college. In her spare time, she & her husband enjoy mountain biking and attending sporting events, especially college football. They like to travel, visit friends, and explore new places. At home, they have 2 dogs- Duke and Roscoe, who are spoiled rotten.
